Cookie Cutter Ornaments
by Katja
Do you know that? Christmas is coming closer and closer, but you still lack the idea for that little personal touch to your Christmas present? For these decorative pendants
you can easily find everything at home ... and maybe some old, no longer used cookie cutters will get a second life, wonderfully staged in candlelight.
Materials
- Aluminum cookie cutters
- Patterned paper, photos, other pictures,...
- Card stock
- Pencil
- Scissors
- White craft glue
- Needle
- Thread or narrow ribbon
- Beads, glitter, or other decoration.
Select the motif: Place the cookie cutter on your paper, photo ..., so that a nice cutout is visible. Draw the outline of the cookie cutter on the paper and cut out the shape.
Dab white craft glue along the cutting edge, press the cookie cutter firmly and let it dry.
Thread a thread or narrow ribbon through the needle, prick between cookie cutter and paper at the top and pull the ribbon through. Slide a bead over the ends of the ribbon and knot it.
Now it's deco time: decorate the pendant by sticking beads, glitter or whatever you have on and in the cookie cutter.
